Advent

Advent begins Sunday November 28th.  This is the start of the new church year and we switch to Lectionary Schedule - Year A for the Sunday Readings/Gospel (BCP page 889).  For the Daily Office the readings/lessons are found in the Year One section (BCP page 936)

Christmas Services

Check back for service times and more information.

Poinsettias to decorate church will be sold (pre - order) between now and December 5th.  Plants are available in 3 different sizes and several color options. Order forms are located near the mailbox or at the back of church.   Please turn in order forms to Jan P (or place in her church mailbox).  Checks made out to the Episcopal Church of the Resurrection can be placed in the Christmas Flowers envelopes and either given to Jan or placed in the offertory basket.  Flowers will be arriving at church December 15th.
Midnight Magic - December 4th

We will be open for business from 11 am to 9 pm
Join us for walking tacos and hot beverages
Free Gingerbread decorating for children
Items for sale including blown glass, Lang, mittens, scrapbooking
 
Gingerbread Houses - December 17th - 6:30pm

Sign up sheet in the Fellowship Hall - please let Corrin know  by the 12th of December so enough "walls and roofs" are available
A variety of decorations are needed - suggestions include m&m's, pretzels, marshmallows, jelly candies, cereal for roofs, Christmas cake decorations.
