MIDNIGHT MAGIC - DECEMBER 6TH 2008

Gingerbread men, walking tacos, hand blown glass, multiple gift items and lots of visitors could all be found beyond the red doors on Main Street during this years Midnight Magic.  Close to 100 gingerbread people were decorated and consumed by newly discovered food artists - in fact the frosting supplies were depleted by the decorators.  Walking tacos appeared to be a hit as well as the hot beverages provided to warm up the shoppers who stopped in to visit and perhaps purchase a gift for someone on their shopping list.  Many thanks to all who worked and provided items to make a successful day and evening.

Gingerbread Houses

Friday December 12th found the church hall filled with both novice and seasoned gingerbread house builders.  The annual event brings out the creative talents of all involved and truely unique finished houses could be found.  Thanks to Corrin and Ann for the baking and frosting making.  "Experienced" builders offered tips and assistance to erect and maintain walls and roofs.  Landscaping included "trees" "walkways" "snow" and even a lake....
