Sunday School
Children's Christian Formation (Sunday School)  starts at 9:00 a.m. and meets in the Fellowship Hall.  Classes are open to all children who would like to participate.  The children join in the worship service following the conclusion of their class.  Our middle and high school students often join in with the younger members of the parish and assist with the lessons.

 Our Curriculum

Weaving God’s Promises is a three-year Christian education program for children ages 3 (preschool) to 11-12 (5th-6th grade). The curriculum was developed and written exclusively for the Episcopal Church.

The goal of Weaving God’s Promises is to teach children the way of Christ, not only in the church but also in the world, and to give them a solid grounding for future youth formation programs, which in turn will prepare them for Christian adulthood.
Weaving God’s Promises provides children with basic knowledge of Church teachings in the three elements essential to the practice of our faith. Each is dependent on the other in order for the faith to stand firmly:

Christian education
Worship
Service

What areas are covered in Weaving God’s Promises to help build this faith foundation?

Holy Scripture - the great stories of the Old and New Testaments are the core of the lessons, with special emphasis on the life and teachings of Jesus

The Church - the curriculum includes information about church history, seasons of the Church year, church practices, use of The Book of Common Prayer, our Anglican and Episcopal tradition, the principal sacraments of our Church: Holy Baptism and Holy Eucharist

Christian Living - applying Christian principles to our lives as essential to faith. Includes the principles and practices of: prayer, outreach and service, Christian ethics, and contemporary issues

The Nursery will be open at 9:00am every Sunday
