Sunday School

Sunday School for the youth of Resurrection meets at 9:00 a.m. prior to start of the worship service.  Classes for 2007-08 will resume September 9th.

Classes are divided by age/grade in school with the elementary children in one group and the middle/high schoolers in another.  This year the groups will come together the first Sunday of each month to work on various service projects.  Instructional classes will occur on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Sunday.  The 5th Sunday of the month (when occuring) will again find the youth of the parish leading the worship service.

The Elementary Students will be using the Episcopal Children's Curriculum.  Lessons are organized around the seasons of the church year - drawing from the Bible, the Book of Common Prayer, the Hymnal, the liturgy , and tradition.

The Episcopal Curriculum for Youth is divided into units for middle school and high schoolers.  Faith formation takes on relevance for teens as they face questions of personal identity and life choices.
